What is Tissue testing ?
Plant tissue testing involves collecting plant samples and analysing them in a lab. It reveals the internal nutrient status rather than relying on visible signs. This helps prevent hidden deficiencies and supports optimal plant development.
Why Tissue Test ?
Tissue testing helps identify nutrient levels in the plant, allowing growers to spot deficiencies or excesses before visible symptoms appear. This early insight enables precise adjustments to feeding, leading to healthier plants, better growth, and improved yield and quality. It’s a reliable way to ensure the plant gets exactly what it needs at each stage.
How does it work ?
Step 1:
Download the documents attached to your purchase namely the Submission form and the Collection instructions
Fill in the red square on the submission form (Date, sample name and crop)
Step 2:
Collect the leaves and package them as per Instructions. Send them off to the labs and wait a couple of days.
Step 3:
The laboratory will send us back the results in 3-4 days and within 24 hours we will revert to you with a full Tissue report containing the following:
-Interpretation – Comprehensive progress bar Laboratory result to help visualise what elements are in excess or deficient
-Recommendations – Detailed list of amendments and rates of application in order to bring the plant back into balance.
